The DM Stands for District Magistrate. डीएम भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा का एक अधिकारी होता है जिसे हम IAS (Indian Administrative Service) भी कहते है। एक डीएम अपने जिला में क़ानूनी विवस्था को बनाये रखने और उसे सही ले लागु करने का कार्य करता है।
एक जिला मजिस्ट्रेट एक अधिकारी है जो भारत में प्रशासन की मूल इकाई जिला का प्रभारी है। उन्हें कई भारतीय राज्यों में जिला कलेक्टर या डिप्टी कमिश्नर भी कहा जाता है। सामान्य रूप से, उन्हें संक्षिप्त नाम डीएम या डीसी द्वारा संदर्भित किया जाता है।
DM कैसे बनें (Eligibility Criteria and Qualification)
District Magistrate बनने के लिए IAS का एग्जाम देना पड़ता है। Union Public Service Commission के द्वारा यह एग्जाम हर साल करवाया जाता है।
तो चलिए जानतें है कि IAS Exam देने के लिए Candidate में क्या-क्या Qualification होनी चाहिए: –
- सबसे पहली और महत्वपूर्ण शर्त कि Exam देने वाला उम्मीदवार भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए।
- IAS के एग्जाम में बैठने के लिए उम्मीदवार का मान्यता प्राप्त university से Graduation होना चाहिए।
- अगर कोई कैंडिडेट लास्ट इयर में है तो वह भी Exam के लिए apply कर सकता है।
- आईएस exam में बैठने के लिए उम्मीदवार की उम्र 21 से 32 वर्ष के बीच होनी चाहिए।
- SC/ST श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 37 वर्ष उम्र रखी गई है।
- OBC श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 35 वर्ष उम्र का प्रावधान है।
- अगर विकलांग व्यक्ति IAS के लिए apply करता है तो उसके लिए अधिकतम उम्र 42 और 45 वर्ष है।
IAS Exam Pattern in Hindi
आईएस का एग्जाम देने के लिए एक उम्मीदवार में क्या क्वालिफिकेशन होनी चाहिए इसके बारे में आपको मालूम चल गया है। अब बात आती है कि IAS officer बनने के लिए exam किस तरह से होगा और कितनी तरह की परीक्षा देनी होगी।
एक IAS officer बनने के लिए उम्मीदवार को 3 चरणों में Exam देना होता है। सबसे पहले Preliminary Exam देना होता है। जब कैंडिडेट यह Exam पास कर लेता है तो दूसरा exam देना होता है जिसे Main exam कहा जाता है। यह दोनों Exam बहुत कठिन होते है।
उम्मीदवार द्वारा दोनों Exam पास करने के बाद फाइनल परीक्षा की बारी आती है। फाइनल Exam एक interview होता है। जिसके लिए उम्मीदवार को Pre और Main Exam पास करने के बाद बुलाया जाता है. Interview में candidate से काफी तरह के प्रश्न पूछे जाते है। अगर कोई भी candidate तीनो चरणों को पूरा कर लेता है तो उसे IAS अधिकारी का पद प्राप्त हो जाता है।
जब किसी अधिकारी को IAS के पद पर 6 साल पुरे हो जाते है तो वह अधिकारी District Magistrate बन सकता है।
