The full form of CSC is Common Service Center. The Common Service Center scheme is one of the mission mode projects under the Digital India program. CSCs are the access points for the delivery of essential public utility services, education, and agriculture services, apart from a host of B2C services to citizens in rural and remote areas of the country.
It is a pan-India network catering to the regional, geographic, linguistic, and cultural diversity of the country. Thus, enabling the Government’s mandate of a socially, financially, and digitally inclusive society.

CSC Registration Process
To open a Common Service Center, every candidate has to take TEC (Telecentre Entrepreneur Course) certificate. TEC is a computer-based test. An online fee of Rs 1479.72 will have to be paid to give this exam.
- Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC) is a certification course designed by CSC Academy.
- This course is for all the Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) and citizens who intend to become certified VLE.
- The course is designed to give information about various services provided by CSC.
- This course is for all the CSC VLEs and Citizens who can become certified VLEs. Through this course, a citizen can open his/her CSC center (Digital Centre) and preference will be given to the certified VLEs for all the existing and upcoming projects in CSC.

सीएससी का फुल फॉर्म इन हिंदी कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर है। कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर योजना डिजिटल इंडिया कार्यक्रम के तहत मिशन मोड परियोजनाओं में से एक है। सीएससी देश के ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में नागरिकों के लिए बी2सी सेवाओं की मेजबानी के अलावा, आवश्यक सार्वजनिक उपयोगिता सेवाओं, शिक्षा और कृषि सेवाओं के वितरण के लिए पहुंच बिंदु हैं।

कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर खोलने के लिए हर उम्मीदवार को टीईसी (टेलीसेंटर एंटरप्रेन्योर कोर्स) सर्टिफिकेट लेना होता है। टीईसी एक कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा है। इस परीक्षा को देने के लिए 1479.72 रुपये का ऑनलाइन शुल्क देना होगा।
