“CDS Full Form”: Combined Defence Service Examination
The CDS full form is Combined Defence Services Examination. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of officers in the Indian Military Academy, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, and Officers Training Academy. This exam is declared in December and May and the exam is conduct in the months of April and September.
Only unmarried candidates are eligible to give this exam. The candidates who clear this exam have to give an interview which is conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). After that those candidates can be given admission to the above academy.

- Permanent tattoos on the body are prohibited.
- There is no hernia anywhere on the body.
- No hearing loss, deformity/disability in the vestibule-cochlear system of the ear.
- There is no active congenital sexual dysfunction.

सीडीएस का फुल फॉर्म इन हिंदी संयुक्त रक्षा सेवा परीक्षा है। यह परीक्षा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा भारतीय सैन्य अकादमी, वायु सेना अकादमी, नौसेना अकादमी और अधिकारी प्रशिक्षण अकादमी में अधिकारियों की भर्ती के लिए आयोजित की जाती है। यह परीक्षा दिसंबर और मई में घोषित की जाती है और परीक्षा अप्रैल और सितंबर के महीनों में आयोजित की जाती है।
